Upgrading wheels on XP 1000

Has anyone here tried to upgrade the rims and tires of their Crew XP 1000? checking with y'all before I upgrade or start any mods. What works, what doesn't. that kind of stuff. Thanks everyone!

Yeah I bet a lot here did, it's a common first mod. Most go with 14in or 15in rims and 30-32in tires for better ground clearance and grip. Make sure the offset keeps the tires from rubbing, and check if clutch or suspension tweaks are needed for bigger sizes. Stick with proven brands and you should be alright.. Lots of info out there on setups that work well.

What kind of riding do you mostly do? that'll really help decide what tire size and tread pattern works best, and whether a lift or clutch upgrade's needed too

I went with 15s and 30-inch tires on mine and it was a gamechanger on how it rides on trails. But verify your clearance before anything and maybe plan for a clutch kit if you go bigger. GL.

I did the same thing with @solaria over here (nice to know I'm not the only one LOL). Either way you should be ready to adjust the clutch. If you are handy in any way that's just perfect. Show us some results here!

yep, I've upgraded the rims before. let me tell you, you need to pay attention to the wheel offset.
A negative offset (like -47mm or -50mm) will push your wheels out, giving you a wider, more stable stance and often a cooler look.
just be aware that going too wide can put more stress on bearings and ball joints, and might fling more mud
