Noticed my Ranger 900's steering wheel sits around 10am when driving straight. The drivers side wheel looks fine but the passenger side toes out quite a bitI found the tie rods were uneven one had more threads showing. I adjusted them to match but still had uneven toe. After tweaking the tie rods separately the wheels look aligned with the steering wheel centered, and steering feels better. Still I have to hold the wheel slightly off center at 11am to keep it straight. Has anyone fixed this on a Ranger 900? Would love tips on DIY alignment or reliable shops for a proper fix.
 
Good job getting it this far! If the wheel is still a bit off at 11 o'clock, you can tweak it by turning both tie rods the same amount, make one shorter, the other longer, to center the wheel and keep the toe the same. Or, if it's almost right, just take the wheel off and adjust it on the splines.

Did you make sure the toe is even on both sides using a tape measure or something straight? That will help make sure there isn't any difference left.
 
If you've got the wheels aligned visually and it drives straight but the wheel is still off, the fix is to center the steering wheel by adjusting both tie rods equally (one in, one out) while maintaining toe, I'll let you aware that its kinda tedious, but it works.
For a real alignment though, you'll need flat ground and ideally some toe plates or straight 2x4s and a couple tape measures, see there are plenty of DIY videos out there too bur if you're not into DIY, check local UTV repair shops, some tire shops that work on trucks with bigger tires will do side by side alignments too,

I understand, and I think we've done something very similar to what you just said and somehow I still think its a little bit off.
