JVC MR3 on crew 1000 EPS

I installed this as my media receiver and somehow only the backlight on the screen is on. Nothing else. It works fine though, its just bugging me that no LED lights are on when they should. Could be some wiring issues or something? Spent almost half a day trying to figure this thhing out with all the manual and stuff. Anyone got the same media receiver on their 2020 Polaris Ranger crew 1000 EPS?

Are the power and ground wires for the receiver's lights are plugged in tight? and making good contact. Sometimes they look like it but aren't!

Could be a dimmer wire or a mismatched illumination lead, maybe even a setting buried somewhere odd. Mine did something close, but I'm still not totally sure what fixed it.
 
These kinds of things are always, and I mean always wiring related, so you'll have to do some hunting to figure out where the problem is. I've seen these kinds of gremlins in the past, so it's a lot of digging to find the source of the problem

If the backlight is on but no information appears, it sounds like a display signal problem. Look for a dimmer wire or display setting in the menu since ground and power are fine. Try a factory reset if there is nothin there, it might be a defective unit or a firmware issue
 
Totally with you on this one! If the backlight's on but you're not seeing any information, it's probably an issue with the signal or the dimmer. Have you had a chance to check out the dimmer wire or the display settings yet? If that doesn't do the trick, a factory reset might be your best bet. By the way, what kind of display are you working with?
