Lag on my Ranger

My trusty ranger has been hesitating a bit weird lately, not like full on tantrum mode, but just enough lag to make me mutter unkind things under my breath, well see yeah, I use it hard, firewood, fencing, and the occasional "oops, that was deeper than it looked" mud bath. so idk could be clutch wear, maybe fuel delivery, I'm stressed out already. but before the frustrated mechanic in me starts throwing parts at it like darts, I need thoughts and I also wouldn't mind hearing your go to maintenance tips, cos once bitten twice shy

I'd check the fuel filter, plugs, and throttle body first but keep it simple before going full parts-cannon, ya know?

It could be the clutch, fuel, or something else, it's hard to say without a closer look but have you checked the fuel filter or air intake recently?
