I've got a 2020 Ranger Crew 1000 (non-XP) and I'm on the hunt for a good winch mount for a Badlands 5000. Ideally, I'd like something that's bolt-on, but I'm okay with doing a little fabrication if necessary. Is anyone out there using this setup or have a mount they would reccommend? I'd really appreciate any tips or part numbers

Still looking for the right winch mount myself, I've seen the badlands 5000 fits awkwardly on most of the bolt on options for the ranger crew 1000. Everything I've tried is either slightly off or needs grinding, new holes, or spacer work. At this point, I've just accepted there's no perfect mount, just degrees of compromise. If anyone's found something that lines up clean without fuss, I'm all ears.

KFI Products winch mount (part #101830) is a solid bolt on choice compatible with the Badlands 5000 winch.. Its constructed from 3/16" Grade 50 steel, powder coated for durability, and it's designed to fit behind the front bumper without requiring major modifications. This mount supports various winch bolt patterns, including the 4-hole wide (3.00" x 6.60") and standard (3.00" x 4.875"), which are very common for Badlands winches. Ensure your winch's bolt pattern matches the mount, and note that a roller fairlead with a 4.875" bolt pattern is required but not included.

It should be okay with minimal tweaks, just make sure to get the matching fairlead and wiring. Some minor alignment might be needed, but overall its an easy install
