My carb is labeled Mikuni; numbers are barely readable, but last 4 on this carb is E364. Whole number may be 50L16BE364.
I bought a kit and have studied several videos on refurbishing this carb. Still, I have a couple questions before I finish up.
1. Kit had a new diaphragm. For the life of me I could not figure out how to get the old diaphragm off without destroying it; so I just left the old one in for now. But I would like to know how to remove and replace the diaphragm. I could not find a video demonstration.
2. See pics. The "air-fuel screw" port (screwdriver pointing to it in pic) on my carb is blocked. Before I screw it up, I want to confirm I have to remove this block to access the screw; or, do I have some carb variation that doesn't have the air-fuel screw?????
3. My basic kit did not have the jet that is accessed under the diaphragm; but it had a smaller jet left over. So I reused by OEM jet in that location. Any ideas?
So for now I have the air-fuel screw, spring, washer and o-ring uninstalled; as well as the "wrong size" jet in the diaphragm area and the diaphragm itself left over. (pic)
Thanks for clarifying.
